I’m Sagar Dodeja—an educator, a former Indian Engineering Services officer and the creator of Civil Beings. My work connects the rigour of engineering and competitive exams with the decisions we make about our careers, our money and our lives.
Teaching is the thread running through it all. In a classroom, on YouTube or in a conversation, I want people to understand the idea, question their assumptions and know what to do with what they have learned.

THE FOUNDATION
NIT Raipur. IIT Bombay. A turning point.
I completed my B.Tech in Civil Engineering at NIT Raipur and joined the M.Tech programme in Transportation Engineering at IIT Bombay. After clearing the Engineering Services Examination, I withdrew from the programme to enter government service.

THE UPSC CHAPTER
AIR 108. First attempt.
I cleared UPSC’s Engineering Services Examination with All India Rank 108 in my first attempt and joined the Survey of India as a Class 1 Gazetted IES officer. I later resigned to pursue my passion for teaching.

As a faculty member at MADE EASY, I have taught Environmental Engineering and Irrigation Engineering, helping aspirants build their concepts and prepare for ESE and GATE with discipline.
